The Wilderness Pack Trip is the “heart” of the Women’s Wellness Retreats created and led by Jessie Allen, the owner/operator of the Diamond 4 Ranch.  Jessie first started leading these retreats in 2014, after spending her lifetime working on the ranch. She created the Women’s Wellness Trips as a way to welcome women from all stages of life to be immersed in the wilderness, focusing on horsemanship, outdoor skills, health & wellness, and building community. 

Arrive at the ranch for a night in the cabins with dinner and breakfast in the lodge. These talented women include Dee, the ranch farrier for over 3 decades, Lindy their large animal vet, and neighbors the Taussig women cattle ranchers. The Taussig’s are scheduled to bring some of their momma cows and calves up to Latigo for summer pasture, adding to the adventure that week. 

Participants in Women’s Week will also have the opportunity to take aim with rifle, shotgun, single action revolver shooting, line dancing, breakfast, sunset, and covered wagon rides, fly fishing lessons, all-day horseback riding and moving cattle, as well as dips in the hot tub after a long day on the trail.
