Cowgirls dominated the Lazy E Arena in Guthrie, Oklahoma, during the fourth annual Charlie 1 Horse All-Girl Challenge as part of Wrangler BFI week. A record 138 breakaway ropers entered, including a handful of world champions like Jackie Hobbs-Crawford and Lari Dee Guy. With the top eight cowgirls coming back to the short round, separated by only three-tenths of a second, it was 19-year-old rookie, Amanda Coleman from West Melbourne, Florida, who came out on top with the first-place prize of $10,000, plus a trophy saddle and buckle.
