Durango® Boots has named three rodeo athletes to the 2021 Team Durango® roster: Kelsie Chace, Jeff Askey and Riley Webb. Throughout 2021, each will represent the brand at various corporate and public events alongside the full stable of Team Durango® athletes, which includes Lisa Lockhart, Luke Brown, Paul Eaves, Ty Erickson, Orin Larsen and Shane Hanchey.

“The achievements of each of these athletes, both in and out of the arena, are commendable,” said Erin DeLong, marketing manager. “Their athleticism, professionalism and dedication reflect the next generation of western sports and make them each a valuable addition to our team.”

Team Durango® ambassadors will represent the brand at competitions, including RFD-TV’s The American Rodeo and Wrangler National Finals Rodeo.  Ambassadors will also be featured in select Durango® marketing initiatives including photoshoots, public appearances and social media promotions.

KELSIE CHACE

―  PROFESSIONAL BREAKAWAY ROPER  ―

  • 7x WRPA World Champion
  • 2x American Qualifier
  • Kansas City WPRA Champion

Kelsie Chace’s WPRA World Championship wins include three breakaway, two tie-down and two all-around titles. She is a two-time American Rodeo qualifier and a Kansas City WCRA Champion. Following her graduation from Southwestern Oklahoma State University, Chace returned to her alma mater as the assistant rodeo coach for two seasons. She currently resides in Dublin, Texas, training horses, being a clinician and competing.

“I love the comfort Durango® boots provide,” said Chace. “They were the first pair of boots I put on that didn’t feel like I had to “break them in.” I’m used to wearing tennis shoes all day unless I’m in the saddle, but with Durango® boots, I don’t feel like I have to take them off to get comfortable again.”

JEFF ASKEY

  • 4x NFR Qualifier
  • 2020 Ram National Circuit Finals Champion
  • 2020 ProRodeo Tour Finale Champion

Jeff Askey is a professional bull rider currently residing in Athens, Texas. Aside from rodeo, Askey enjoys predator and hog hunting and taking care of his cows.

“Durango® boots are the perfect everyday boot,” said Askey. “Whether you're ranching, hunting, or rodeoing, they have you covered. This company keeps comfort and quality in mind while producing boots that are ready for any activity.”
