Sometimes it seems like Christmas is measured by the size of the gift, and it shouldn’t be. Yes, I’d love a new and expensive set of tack, another saddle, and more cowboy boots. But there are other ways to my heart and I think many cowgirls would agree. Husbands and boyfriends take note, these thoughtful gestures can take your gift giving to a whole new level.
Just make sure you present these “gifts” with a card, flowers or or nice packaging otherwise it might seem like you forgot about Christmas.
- 1. Offer to clean stalls for a week. If you are already the regular stall cleaner, this won’t work but if you haven’t picked up the muck bucket in a while, now is the time. Bonus points for cleaning the whole barn.
