COWGIRL LIFE 5 Creative Christmas Gifts for Your Cowgirl That Won't Cost You A Dime! By Raquel Lynn | December 15, 2015 A-clean-truck-and-trailer Share [tps_header] Sometimes it seems like Christmas is measured by the size of the gift, and it shouldn’t be. Yes, I’d love a new and expensive set of tack, another saddle, and more cowboy boots. But there are other ways to my heart and I think many cowgirls would agree. Husbands and boyfriends take note, these thoughtful gestures can take your gift giving to a whole new level. Just make sure you present these “gifts” with a card, flowers or or nice packaging otherwise it might seem like you forgot about Christmas. 1. Offer to clean stalls for a week. If you are already the regular stall cleaner, this won’t work but if you haven’t picked up the muck bucket in a while, now is the time. Bonus points for cleaning the whole barn. This is perfect for the working woman, she goes to work and has limited daylight and/or time to get things done when she gets home. Have her horse saddled when she comes pulls up the driveway and hand over the reins. Then make dinner while she rides. Photo source: Equine Obsession 3. Wash and clean the interior and exterior of the truck and trailer. Clean trucks make happy cowgirls, this will definitely impress her. Photo source: Noble Outfitters 4. Clean and oil ALL of her tack. Don’t skip anything; polish silver, condition leather, wash polos and leg protection, saddle pads, and finish it off by conditioning every single pair of cowboy boots she owns. If your cowgirl isn’t into mornings, she might appreciate this and sleep in a little.
