There are some interesting crosses of horse breeds in the world. The Quarab is no exception! This unique horse combines the best qualities of Arabian and Quarter Horses. They're beautiful, athletic, and intelligent. These horses also do well in both English and western disciplines. They're the whole package!

Facts About Quarabs

  1. This breed developed in the United States around the 1960s. Unfortunately, the International Quarab Horse Association shut down, though there is an Italian association that accepts these horses worldwide. This breed is not yet recognized by any major organizations like the American Quarter Horse Association though.
  2. Quarabs come in all sorts of colors and patterns. They're generally between 14 and 16 hands. Many have the longer necks of Arabians and the muscular legs of Quarter Horses.
  3. Most recognize three types, including a straight/foundation, stock, and pleasure type. The foundations have an even split of qualities from both breeds, the stock ones tend to have greater Quarter Horse or Paint traits, and the pleasure horses have more Arabian characteristics.
  4. This breed excels in many disciplines from jumping and dressage to reining and trail riding. Their versatility makes them wonderful mounts for competitive and pleasure riders.
  5. They have incredible stamina! Thanks to their Arabian heritage, most are able to cover long distances.

Don't miss the opportunity to discover more about this fascinating breed! They may be just what you're looking for in your next horse.
