1) Carrie Underwood’s tribute to Las Vegas victims: If you saw Carrie’s performance, there’s no way your eyes were dry by the end of it. In a somber moment of reflection, Carrie dedicated the Christian song “softly and tenderly” to the victims of the horrific Vegas tragedy.

2) Miranda Lambert winning Female Vocalist of the Year: Miranda Lambert deserved to win the coveted female vocalist award after pouring her heart and soul into her most recent album, The Weight of These Wings.
