Last week, Jade Eagleson, a Canadian country singer and songwriter gives credit where credit is due to rodeo cowgirls in his new song, "Rodeo Queen."

"She's a certified can chasin' chapped up cutie... She's a Stetson and a pearl snap shirt wearin' beauty..."

"Oh, what I'd give to be the King to the Rodeo Queen... Don't want a diamond on her finger she wants 'em on her buckle"

These are the lyrics to a new country hit about infamous rodeo queens set to upbeat guitar pickin.' His deep voice knocks this ode to cowgirls out of the park.

Eagleson, the 28-year-old artist, grew up on a farm in Canada. He got into the music scene in 2017 where he had the goal of "re-establishing neo-traditional" country music. Since then, he has received numerous achievements, such as two Canadian Country Music Awards and the Award for Top Selling Canadian Album.
