The rodeo has just announced that the Heartland star will be the 2019 Parade Marshal, leading the festive procession through the Calgary streets. Dana Peers, President & Chairman of the Board at the Calgary Stampede, is ecstatic to have such a prominent female figure in the Western world marshal the celebration. “Amber represents and promotes Western heritage and values both on and off the screen, says Peers. “She is a role model to many young viewers and I believe she portrays a very positive message.” In the parade, Amber will ride her Heartland co-star, a quarter horse named Spartan. We can’t wait to see the two of them in action!
