The Eggers family started The Original Windmill Ceiling Fan Company over six years ago after solving her own search for the perfect ceiling fan. As the story goes, she had been looking for an efficient way to cool their barndominium and spotted a farm-style windmill overlooking the property. Not only did it represent farm living, but unlike a traditional fan, the blades were stronger, and there were more of them.
If they could make a lightweight version that could attach to any ceiling, have a customized finish to match their style, and assemble it with aluminum and steel construction right here in America, Kelly Eggers would be happy and that isn’t an easy task!
“I simply got tired of buying products that came off a conveyor belt thousands of miles away and never quite measured up,” Kelly said. “Every last nook and cranny of each windmill fan — right down to the lightweight aluminum custom finish — is made to each individual order and made with love.”
Needless to say, she was right. Today, The Original Windmill Ceiling Fan Company is your go-to for quality, homemade, one-of-a-kind fans that are made right here in America. Product quality, American made and customer service are priorities. Kelly is involved with every order from beginning to end and that will never change. You’re not only getting the best fan out there, but you’re also keeping jobs in America and supporting local businesses who put their heart and soul into each product.
Their fans are hand-crafted at their production facility in Pilot Point, Texas. With 18 blades, an efficient motor, and sizing options, customers can design a one-of-a-kind windmill fan for any space, whether it’s rustic, farmhouse, contemporary, or something in between. They are the perfect addition for any style home, business, barn, or bardominium.
They are the only company providing custom windmill ceiling fans made of aluminum and steel design.
“I’m proud that we created a product that solves an issue for anyone who values the traditions of farm life as much as we do,” Kelly said. “We would love to help you come home to one of our unique, beautiful, functional windmill ceiling fans.”
