Amy Wilson, host of Western Sports programming on The Cowboy Channel and Rural Radio will co-host The Cowboy Channel’s live pre-show Rodeo Las Vegas outside of the Thomas and Mack Center during the 2019 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas.

The former Miss Rodeo America titleholder is no stranger to the excitement of the “Super Bowl” of Western competition, with six years of WNFR reporting under her belt.

“If you’re involved in Western sports, you’re probably in Vegas during that time and if you’re not, you want to be able to watch it and experience it,” says Wilson.

She is most excited about bringing the pre-show to the fans.

“I get to help those contestants tell their stories and help create an even bigger fan base for rodeo,” says Wilson.

“I’m really excited for the team of people we have, to be able to get those stories told to a bigger audience and provide a true behind-the-scenes look for fans.”

In addition to Rodeo Las Vegas, Wilson will also take The Cowboy Channel’s main stage at the Las Vegas Convention Center, with Justin McKee, where the duo will host Western Sports Round-Up on The Cowboy Channel and Rural Radio from Cowboy Christmas which features ten days of everything WNFR and Vegas related.

Look for Wilson doing pre-show events and interviews and, of course, Rodeo Las Vegas live from Thomas and Mack Center and Western Sports Round-Up live from Cowboy Christmas during the full two-weeks of events and festivities, December 5-14.
