This year at the 2019 CMT Artist of the Year event, Ashley McBryde will be awarded Breakout Artist of the Year.

This is a very special honor as McBryde will be only the third recipient of this award in the 10 year history of this event.

“I’m so excited to share the same stage as this fantastic group of artists and am honored to be there to celebrate alongside them,” said McBryde.

McBryde is having a record year! After releasing her major label debut album Girl Going Nowhere in 2018, McBryde received a 2019 Grammy nomination for Best Country Album, the 2019 ACM award for New Female Artist of the Year, the 2019 CMT award for Breakthrough Video of the Year, and the 2019 CMA award nomination for New Artist of the Year.

McBryde’s highly-anticipated next album, due out in 2020, will feature the debut single, “One Night Standards.” And she’s keeping her schedule packed with stops on Miranda Lambert’s tour through the end of this year, then in early 2020 she’ll be joining Luke Combs on his.
