This exhibit features over 70 black and white images dating from 1984 to 2014 as Van Cleve photographed ranches across seven Western states, exploring landscapes and life through the work of women. Her photos illustrate that from sewing to branding, the contributions of women to the ranch are as vital as those of men. Barbara Van Cleve is a Cowgirl Hall of Fame Honoree, and internationally acclaimed artist, whose heritage is one of considerable family history and personal experience.  Booth Western Art Museum, an Affiliate to the Smithsonian Institution, is a 120,000 square foot museum located in Cartersville, Georgia To learn more about Booth Western Art Museum, visit boothmuseum.org.
