Old West history is hypnotizing for some cowgirls. Chris West of Chris West Originals just got a custom order for a Billy The Kid suitcase.

“The ‘KID’ custom suitcase for a gal who is an Old West historian!” Chris wrote on Instagram. “She sent me the photo and I went to town on this vintage 1940s suitcase.”

The vintage suitcase was turned into a stylish nod to the outlaw. The only known photo of Billy the Kid is front and center and his name is tooled in leather on the case along with his birth and death years.

Around the perimeter are silver studs to frame the piece and hanging off each side of the handle is a double bullet shell dangle.

With a Billy the Kid piece under her belt, Chris West said she’s open to more historic icon custom pieces! “Send me a pic of your favorite western icon and I’ll make you something cool, too,” she wrote.
