COWGIRL LIFE Bobby Bones Is Watching Lauren Alaina On Dancing With The Stars By Samantha Crowley | October 8, 2019 Instagram @mrbobbybones Share Foxtrotting to Dolly Parton’s hit “Jolene” this week prompted a quick trip to Nashville for Lauren Alaina and her dance partner Gleb. Alaina held a pop-up show to show off her country roots at Nashville’s Tootsie’s, where she performed as a young country hopeful. Country radio host Bobby Bones (The Bobby Bones Show) made sure to stop by to support the dancing diva, and of course, he kept his Instagram followers updated about the event. In 2018, Bobby Bones was crowned “the people’s champion” of Dancing with the Stars, the audience vote and his unmatched enthusiasm earning him first place. And, he’s still a fan of the show; Bones admitted that he’s been watching and rooting for Alaina, even getting nervous during her routines because he wants her to succeed! Nothing like a moment of pure friendship to make your heart melt. It paid off, as the duo earned 32 points out of 40 for their “Jolene” foxtrot. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjuSJuqpYpY BTW… that wasn’t the only country nod on Dancing last night. Queer Eye‘s Karamo and his partner Jenna did a fiery tango to Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus’ “Old Town Road (Remix).” They even prepped for the routine with a trail ride! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yrsLMPTSdds Both Karamo and Lauren Alaina advanced in the competition thanks to their scores and audience vote. Dancing with the Stars airs Monday’s at 8 ET/7 CT on ABC. Tune in next week to see Lauren Alaina and others dance to some classic Disney songs!
