Brittany Miller is one of the fierce women who competes in ranch bronc riding on the hit RIDE TV show Cowgirls. Ms. Miller sat down with me to answer some questions about what it’s like to compete in the sport of ranch bronc riding, goals she’d like to accomplish, and how bucking horses have transformed her life.

Q: What does being a female ranch bronc rider mean to you?
A:
I’ve never thought of myself as a female bronc rider. I have always and simply been just a bronc rider- one of the guys. I am a bronc rider first and a woman second. However, it does mean a lot to me. To be who I am, knowing girls and women look up to me, gives me confidence and a sense of pride I didn’t think I could have.

Q: What are some of your biggest goals going into Season 2 of Cowgirls?
A:
My big goal for this season is to be the 2x (two-time) Cowgirls Champion. I have a few small goals I want to achieve this year too. I want to improve my footwork as well as handling my rein better. And, a personal goal of mine, is to consistently have a positive mentality when I’m competing. I’m excited to see how far I can go, to see how far I can push myself. Self discipline fueled by passion drives the goals I set for myself.

Q: What impact have bucking horses had on your life?
A:
I eat, sleep, and breathe bucking horses. I am truly who I am on the back of a bronc. Riding bucking horses has shown it doesn’t matter what you are or where you come from. What matters is who you are and the passion you have for what you do which allows you to succeed in anything.

Catch Brittany in action when season two of RIDE TV’s Cowgirls premieres on August 1st, 2018!
