The world famous Budweiser Clydesdales, the symbol of quality and tradition for Anheuser-Busch since 1933, are a featured highlight at Fort Worth Stock Show rodeo performances in Dickies Arena during the 125th edition of the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo.

The eight-horse hitch pulls the famous red Budweiser beer wagon during select rodeo performances January 21 through February 4 and will be on view at their stalls in the Burnett Building January 14 through the end of the show.

The Budweiser Clydesdales’ appearance at the Stock Show is one of hundreds made annually by the traveling hitches. Horses chosen for a Budweiser Clydesdale hitch must be at least three years of age, stand approximately 18 hands - or six feet - at the shoulder, weigh an average of 2000 pounds, must be bay in color, have four white stockings, and a blaze of white on the face and black mane and tail. A gentle temperament is very important as the famous horses meet millions of people each year.

“The Budweiser Clydesdales were a huge hit at the 2020 Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo and we’re excited to have them back,” said Stock Show President and General Manager Brad Barnes. “I encourage our fans to take advantage of visiting these beautiful horses at their stalls or watch them parade from the Will Rogers facility to Dickies Arena as they head to the rodeo. Grounds admission is all you’ll need to enjoy that experience, but we know the most exciting action happens in the arena, so get your rodeo tickets as soon possible.”
