As everyone knows, parts of California have been demolished by fires, leaving many people without homes. Cam, a California native, partnered with Ram Trucks and headed to Santa Rosa to boost morale among locals.

Cam spent time with both firefighters and homeowners, listening to stories of the fire. The country star also made a trip to Luther Burbank Center for the Arts, where she donated instruments.

In a moving video that was produced by Ram, Cam shares encouraging words with those who have lost their homes.

There are moments that make you, that set the course of who you are going to be. Sometimes they’re small. Sometimes they’re big moments you never saw coming. And those big moments will surely come. It’s what you do afterwards that counts. That’s when you find out who you are

Your roots, your values, the people you love, your integrity; these are not the things that determine who you are. These are the things that make who you become.

Because there’s work to be done: A little here, a lot there, today, tomorrow, and for the next generation. The journey doesn’t stop, so we drive on in pursuit of our best selves, which together we continue becoming.
