Holy hosts! Country music symbols Carrie Underwood, Dolly Parton, and past cover Cowgirl Reba McEntire will host the 2019 CMA Awards. Rather than traditional co-host Brad Paisley by Carrie’s side, this year, there will be some major girl power onstage in a time when the country scene needs it most.

Females in country music need all the support they can get, with their songs still lacking in streams and radio plays. The CMA is proud to have this powerful country music trio host the Awards this year to help celebrate women in the industry and give voice to more female artists.

Sarah Trahern, CEO of the CMA, is looking forward to seeing the impact Underwood, Parton, and McEntire will have as hosts. “It’s an incredible honor to welcome Carrie, Reba and Dolly to the CMA Awards stage this year,” she says. “In addition to awarding the year’s best and brightest in the genre, the 53rd Annual CMA Awards will celebrate the legacy of women within country music, and we couldn’t think of a more dynamic group of women to host the show.”

Award nominees will be revealed August 28th on Good Morning America, and news about performers and presenters is still to come.

The 2019 CMA Awards will air November 13th on ABC at 8PM ET. In the meantime, catch Carrie on The Cry Pretty Tour.
