Celebrity Style: Hilary Duff

Hilary Duff stepped out recently in an adorable tie dye skirt, simple tee and ankle booties. We recreated her style on our Polyvore account, and wanted to share some of our picks to recreate this cute and casual look.

We picked two tops for this look, one lavender and one white. 

This lavender crop tee is from TopShop, it has adorable wavy crocheted details and the sleeves and hem, and is perfect worn with a higher-waisted skirt. This top is the most similar to the one Hilary is wearing. Buy Here. 

Next we picked a slightly simpler tee from Derek Heart via Boot Barn. It is a burnout tee with lace sleeves and lace detailing in the back, to add a little visual interest to an otherwise simple tee. This is a full-length tee so it can be worn with either a high waist skirt or a low rise skirt. Buy Here.

Next we chose two tie dye skirts, one in a very loud and busy print, and one that is a little more toned down.

This skirt is from Wet Seal. It has a very similar pattern and color to the skirt Hilary is wearing, although the original skirt has more of a high-low hemline, this skirt is very wearable, comfortable, and adorable. Buy Here.

This skirt from Miss Me via Sheplers is a little less loud than the previous skirt, though no less stylish. It still shares the same colors and tie dye theme as the original skirt, it is just not quite as busy. Buy Here.

Hilary stepped out in a sweet pair of grey ankle booties, we like these ones from Frye to achieve that look. Buy Here.

In the photo Hilary is carrying a cool textured leather clutch, we love this one from Tyler Rose via Boot Barn for a similar style. It is a gator print with a removable strap, so it can be used as both a clutch or a crossbody bag! Buy Here.

A classic element to a simple style, a silver bangle bracelet adds a hint of grace and elegance to every outfit. We love this engraved one from Montana Silversmiths. Buy Here.

Last but not least add a pop of color to an otherwise muted look with a bright necklace like Hilary’s bright yellow one. We like this beaded necklace from Sookie Sookie! The contrast between the orange and purple really draws the eye. Buy Here.
