Over the weekend, the State Champions were crowned at the Texas High School State Finals. Student athletes from across 10 regions made the trip to Abilene to see who would be representing the Lone Star State at the National High School Finals Rodeo this summer. The ladies brought the heat, and here’s who emerged victorious:
Madison Outhier- Breakaway Roping
None other than Madison Outhier was crowned the state champion in Breakaway! This girl is on FIRE.
Jada Trosper- Barrel Racing
Jada Trosper bested the field of barrel racers with a total of 50.156 seconds on three head!
Brooklyn Balch- Goat Tying
Brooklyn Balch has got some fast hands with 21.570 seconds on three!
Kiley Hargrave-Batten
Kiley Hargrave-Batten smoked the competition with a 59.499 seconds on three runs!
Faith Farris- Girls Cutting
Faith Farris won all three rounds to easily snag the state title!
