"If you want to be successful, you have to surround yourself with people who believe in you and want to see you be successful! I call Charly a couple days ago to tell him the prognosis from the vet on my horses. I said, “I just don’t know what to do?” He said, “You want me to bring you Roulette (my young mare)? I said, “No, I don’t want you to drive all the way up here just to bring her to me, I’ll figure something out.” He says, “I’m loading up and leaving tonight, I’ll be there by tomorrow night.” He drove from Stephenville, TX to Billings, MT straight through by himself, brought me my mare, watched a practice session, loved on the kids, and turned around and drove straight back to be able to rope on his colts before dark the next day.
