With a little faith and determination, Cobra went from an untrainable mustang to a champion. This inspirational story will leave you awestruck. It’s all about second chances and not giving up. Mustangs can be great horses if you’re willing to put in the effort! There’s over 50,000 mustangs in holding pens. Will you take a chance?

In 2010, Marsha Hartford-Sapp took a risk on a six year old gelding named Cobra. He was offered for adoption three different times and no one wanted him. He was labeled unadoptable. Thanks to the Extreme Mustang Makeover, Marsha decided to take him home.

The mustang started off as angry and dangerous. It’s hard to believe he’s the same horse nowadays. He loves attention and has quite the bond with Marsha. He’s one of the first mustangs to earn a world championship in USEF western dressage. Cobra also received a Horse of the Year award and was recently made into a Breyer horse.
