The classic Old Fashioned is a sweet and surprisingly refreshing whiskey drink dating back to 1806. Considered “the primordial cocktail,” it is older than either the martini or the Manhattan.
Ingredients
2 oz Knob Creek single barrel bourbon
3 dashes Angostura bitters
5 dashes Regans orange bitters
½ oz simple syrup
½ oz club soda
Directions
Combine sugar, soda, bitters, ice and peel. Stir while pouring bourbon into a rock glass. Top with ice and enjoy.
