Everyone loves a fun way to express their interests with graphic t-shirts, hoodies, etc. Well, Kirby Focht of Cowhorse Couture made a company to help everyone express themself through graphic design.

Kirby isn't your run-of-the-mill person, she is a giver. Her first job is working as a 9-1-1 operator, "Creativity helps ground me, and heal me from all the trauma I hear all day long being a 9-1-1 operator." She draws each and every one of her designs that she put on shirts. "I learned early on that a lot of people really respond to the original work, especially the cowhorse community," says Focht.

She started her love for horses at a young age. However, she wasn't able to get her first horse until she was twenty. She found her love for cowhorses while she was at AQHA professional horseman Jim Spence's ranch. "Watching a horse work a cow was where it was at for me," Focht recalls.

Each of her designs takes her hours to create. "It takes somewhere between 40-60 hours to create one of the designs." She makes each of these shirts custom made to order.

Kirby has plans to take her shop on the road soon. "I want to be where the action is, and get my inspiration form watching these amazing horses in action." Her goal for next year is to make this a full time career and be able to live the life she loves.
