Brooklyn-based Chelsea Miller makes unique kitchen knives from reclaimed horse-farrier rasps and tools. Her father was a blacksmith and carpenter who taught her early to work with her hands.
What started as a hobby in 2011 has since gained enormous popularity in professional and private kitchens, and her knives are now backordered 10 to 12 weeks. Each knife is one of a kind and features Chelsea’s trademark serrated rasp surface that chefs use for grating.
