Otomi is one of our favorite ways to wear or dress up our homes in bright colors for summer. Are you in the large majority of folks who’s asking, “what in the actual heck is otomi?” You know that bright colored embroidered stuff you flock to when your shopping in any western boutique in America? Yeah? That’s otomi! Technically, it’s a hand weaving style, that originated in Mexico.
The designers at Casa Otomi picked up the art and ran with it. They are using otomi techniques to create modern wearables that maintain the authenticity of Old Mexico that we love. From dresses to purses and pillows, we can’t get enough Casa Otomi in our lives!
