From Ken McNabb Horsemanship and Diamond Land & Livestock comes the 12th year of Diamond-McNabb Ranch Horse Sale, to be held June 6, 2020 in Douglas, Wyoming.
According to Diamond-McNabb Ranch Horses, the sale’s goal is “to offer quality horses for everyone, from the experienced ranch hand to the recreational trail rider.”
Douglas’ Powderhorn Ranch will be the backdrop for the 12th annual sale. The ranch regularly hosts horsemanship clinics, sortings, and photography retreats and is known for its hunting, fishing, and quality accomodations.
Though the sale is on Saturday, there will be a whole weekend of related events. Gates open at 3:00 PM on June 5th, when the ranch will begin hosting activities prior to the sale. Guests will be able to view the horses (a total of 91 this year!), visit with the riders, and view a colt-starting presentation from Ken McNabb. And, there will be a barbecue dinner.
On sale day, doors open at 8:00 AM, the preview begins at 9:00 AM, and the official sale will begin at 12:30 PM.
To close the weekend’s events, Powderhorn Ranch will host Cowboy Church on Sunday, June 7th.
If you’re not able to attend the Wyoming events of Diamond-McNabb Ranch Horse Sale, there will be online and phone bidding available.
