If you’re anything like me you REALLY love jewelry. I spend a lot of time and money curating my favorite pieces to fit my personality and style. So why hide it in a drawer? Of course I like to keep my expensive pieces tucked safely away but all those fun earrings, rings, bangles, and necklaces I like to be able to see. Seeing what I have available really helps to get my creative juices flowing. I’ve even put together an entire look around one piece of jewelry!

So I decided to hunt for creative ways to display my jewelry on a jewelry rack. My house has a rustic look to it so I really wanted to find a farmhouse, weathered paint, or wood look. I found lots of awesome and creative ideas and most are so simple to make.

Here are my top picks. Some have an actual DIY article and some are just inspiration pictures. I hope this helps you find the perfect one for your house. It sure helped me!

Okay, how stinkin’ cute and easy is this?! Find a cute cheesegrater, paint (if you even need to), throw a ribbon on top and you’re done. This has such a great vintage/retro vibe and I absolutely adore it. You can make them out of free-standing graters if you want a table top style. HERE is a great tutorial from Turning The Clock Back!

I love that this is a drawer. I’m not sure of the original source for this image as it was on several different pages but I just love how easy this is and it’s repurposing. You could easily find a drawer at a Goodwill, junk yard, or yard sale. Use a little bit of sandpaper to scuff it up, stain it with some tea and coffee, throw some knobs and hooks on it and BAM! You’ve got a super vintage chic way to display all that fun jewelry! I especially love that there is a little ledge to set your cuffs (I have a lot of those).

This one is from Living Vintage and I love the way it looks so “accidental” it doesn’t look like it was necessarily designed to be a jewelry rack (even though it was). It has a very farmhouse feel to it as well. Check out how to make this “Tree for Baubles” HERE.

This style of jewelry hanger is all over Etsy for purchase if you’re not the crafting type but if you are it’s pretty simple to make. You could even do a chalk paint for a more shabby chic weathered look if you wanted. Use a ruler to make sure your your hooks are evenly spaced for a very organized look. This one definitely satisfies my OCD side!

This is so perfect for a cowgirl! The horseshoes give it western flair and you could paint or stain the wood whatever color you want! I love that they used real horseshoe nails too!

I love the natural simplicity of this little wood post. You could make this as tall as you want to (I would recommend creating some kind of base to stabilize). Even though they only have rings on this one you could totally hang bracelets and fishhook earrings on it as well!

I don’t know what says farmhouse more than chicken wire and an old wooden window! These DIY is from Today I Found You and it gives you a great step by step with pictures. Pretty easy to make but you will need some tools. This works great if you have a lot of dangly fishhook earrings. Get the instructions HERE.

This is SO cool but will require a welder! It’s genius the way they added the metal plate to the top shoe to give you a place to store your post earrings and you could even place a small ring plate in the bottom horseshoe for some extra ring storage. You might be able to find a similar one for purchase online otherwise you’re going to have to find someone who’s handy with a welder to make this happen.
