If Dolly’s songs weren’t enough Parton for your eardrums, just wait until the drop of the new podcast about her life. Being released as a nine-part series with host Jad Abumrad (public radio series Radiolab), Dolly Parton’s America will explore what Dolly’s life reveals about American society.

Abrumad partners with Parton on the podcast to get the real story behind the “Great Unifier.” What about Dolly brings people together?

The podcast is set to be released sometime this fall, but doesn’t yet have a premiere date. In the meantime, Dolly has other projects in the works that will surely excite her fans.

Dolly is working on a series of films based on her songs. The films will be released on Netflix later this year and already have star-studded casts. Dolly Parton, Julianne Hough, and Kimberly Williams-Paisley star in “Jolene,” while Kathleen Turner and Ginnifer Godwin lend their talents to “These Old Bones.”

Then, just in time for the holidays, Dolly hits the Hallmark Channel with Christmas at Dollywood, starring Danica McKellar, and premiering during the channel’s “Countdown to Christmas.”

If you just want more Dolly A.S.A.P., be sure to watch Dumplin’, on Netflix now. Produced by Jennifer Aniston, the film explores Dolly’s music’s impact on one young girl, with tie-ins to the pageant circuit and the meaning of family.

We can’t wait to see what else Dolly has in store for us mere mortals this year.
