Lots of people dream about winning one globe at the American Quarter Horse Association World Show. But for Julie Gibbons she rode away winning not one, but two and a little over $10,000!

Julie entered three horses in the Amateur boxing at the 2021 AQHA World Show and managed to get all three of them back in the finals. She then managed to win the coveted World Title riding Cat Can Dew, a 2008 model gelding (WR This Cats Smart x Dew It Flo). Then, she was crowned Reserve World Champion on Unos Blue Lightening, a 2014 model gelding (Uno What Time It Is x Miss Vibrant Chex). She was also top ten on her third horse Gar Sweet Tea, a 2017 model (Bamacat x PG Selena).

But wait, the story gets cooler! Julie has previously won the world on Cat Can Dew in 2019, Reserve World Champion in 2012, and was third the year prior.

Oh, and did I mention Julie and her family raised two of the three horses she rode? The Gibbons family are the proud owners of Uno What Time It Is (the sire to Unos Blue Lightening), which I can only imagine makes her Reserve Champion win that much more special! Julie showed Uno What Time It Is at the AQHA world show in 2012 and made the finals on him as well!
