[tps_header]Texas Antiques Week A trip to Texas antiques week is something every cowgirl must do at least once in her life. I suggest making it a yearly tradition if you can.

I visited Round Top and Warrenton, Texas for the first time last week. I’m sharing photos from my trip and tips I learned along the way.

Royers Cafe is a staple in this adorable little town. Texas Antiques WeekYou can spend hours walking through booth after booth. Comfortable boots and shoes are a must. Ladies, skip the flip flops because there are fire ants out in the fields. Texas Antiques WeekGloomy skies and thunderstorms lingered during my trip, but that didn’t stop anyone from shopping. Bring layers, wear a hat, and plenty of sunscreen. Texas Antiques WeekThings were funky and fabulous at Texas Trash Jewelry. Every booth offered new inspiration. Texas Antiques WeekA lot of vendors will ship, but I definitely recommend turning a trip to antiques week into a road trip – bring your biggest truck or SUV along with you. Texas Antiques WeekBe prepared to meet a lot of friendly people! Vendors come from near and far to sell their goods. Each antique has a story. Texas Antiques WeekA tip from a friend on shopping during antiques week – if you want something, buy it. You don’t know if it will be gone when you come back and you don’t have the luxury to time while shopping.
Texas Antiques WeekStay hydrated and fueled. You’ll find lots of tea, lemonade, beer, barbecue, and tacos to throughout the tents. Texas Antiques Week
My first experience at antiques week was overwhelming. I got to see a little bit of everything and learned the ropes on this trip. Next year, I’ll be a pro at navigating the grounds.
