Real cowhide, although beautiful, can get pretty pricy if you don’t watch it. Luckily there are some fantastic faux hide pieces to choose from. Obviously there are the little things like throw blankets and pillows you can find with cowhide prints on it, but there are some fantastic furniture options as well.
When it comes to cowhide, my best advice is to use it sparingly throughout the home. Think of it like a polkadot print. As cute as polka dots are, you can certainly overwhelm a room if you’ve got dots on everything in it? That’s why a simple blanket or ottoman can give a room that rustic touch you’re looking for, without putting the whole herd in your living area. 🙂
