Rodeo’s top athletes competed at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo (FWSSR) Pro Rodeo Tournament for their chance to win a piece of the 1.2 million dollar prize.
After seven brackets of competition, one wild card round, two semi-final rounds, it all came down to the final championship round.
Two-time world champion barrel racer Hailey Kinsel Lockwood won her second consecutive championship at the 2020 Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo with a time of 16.30, clocking the fastest time of this year’s rodeo, setting the arena record in the new Dickies Arena, and winning $20,000.
“She is the first back-to-back champion in barrel racing at Fort Worth in many years and holds the distinction of winning the last title in Will Rogers Coliseum in 2019 and the first in the Dickies Arena in 2020.” – Wrangler Network.
