Hermés’ Kelly Has Gone To The Wild West

For both the bag and the film, luxury brand Hermés uses western and equestrian elements … interestingly. Their new "When Kelly Comes To Town" film (and Kelly Bag) are "equestrian inspired".

“When Kelly Came To Town” is the short film story of a mysterious woman on the trail of reward. She has the Kelly and is looking to turn in the bag for a handsome sum. With determined enemies, a fearless heroine and moody cinematography, this short has all the makings of a great western. If only it was a full film!

A mouthful by any means, Hermés’ description of their Kelly bag ir truly luxurious. In layman’s terms, the Kelly bag’s use of an equestrian-reminiscent canvas pattern, leather and a “saddle” bad shape give the Kelly it’s western heritage.
