Oh contouring, what a pain you are. Let’s face it, does anyone that’s not a professional really know how to contour their face? I know I didn’t when the trend first came about! I’m more of a “slap your makeup on as quickly as possible and run out the door in the morning” kind of girl anyways.

Well, I have officially found the best of both worlds, and would like to share it with y’all!contour highlight becca cosmetics moonstone bronzed Bondi pressed powder cowgirl magazine

First, I wash my face and put my normal foundation on. When I get ready to contour, I follow the “map” shown above!

After applying my powder foundation, I use a rounded contour brush and apply the Sunlit Bronzer by Becca, in the color Bronzed Bondi, to the areas marked as “contour.” Apply as much as you would like for a more dramatic look.

Next, I use the Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter by Becca in the color Moonstone. Using a fan brush, dust it over the areas marked as “highlight.” I’m about middle of the line when it comes to skin tone, but these powders are available in a multitude of colors if you prefer lighter or darker.

Lastly, I finish off my eyes and I’m out the door! Contouring my face takes me less than two minutes. My one piece of advice would be to make sure that if you choose to put it on heavy, blend where the highlight meets the contour so you don’t have stripes!
