Savannah Freeze grew up in Southeast Idaho on her family ranch where they farmed and ran a large herd of cows. Her love for the Western way of life runs deep in her veins, and has navigated her life so far. Once she graduated high school, she moved to Montana to work alongside her husband Jake Freeze on some prestigious cattle ranches in the state.

Quickly growing her family and adding her son Waylon into the picture, they moved to Weatherford, Texas. Soon after, Savannah and Jake had a daughter, Preslee. Being a mother and a wife has always been her first and foremost obligation. However, she was feeling as if she lost her identity and was missing the Western industry.

She created Savanah Freeze Insurance, an insurance company offers a variety of equine, farm, ranch, and livestock coverage. Her goal is to work to customize your coverage for ever horse and rider needs.

The company has insured every type of horse in the industry, “I have insured horses all over the United States of all different disciplines. Barrel racing, roping, team penning, dressage, cutting, cow horse, western pleasure, halter, and my personal favorite, the “worth their weight in gold” ranch horses,” says Savannah.

But we can think outside the box, too. Maybe you purchased the high selling dog at the Art Of The Cowgirl sale, she'd be happy to insure your working dog alongside your working horse.

Originally, she worked for as an accounting manager for an equine insurance company. That quickly sparked her interest and made it clear what her path was. “Now I get to insure the best friends, teammates, family members, and for a lot of us in the western industry, our way of life, the horse," Savannah says.

Insurance is something not everyone does, and a lot of people wonder when to insure and when to not? “Whether it be monetary value or sentimental value, maybe even both, I think it’s always a smart decision to insure them,” Savannah advises. But who all and what all can you insure? “I can insure just about everything except for race horses who are actively competing and foals in utero. I can insure them from 24 hours of age up until they turn 21, and then coverage is no longer offered.”
