Experience Fall Foliage Aboard Icelandic Horses

This family-friendly adventure is right up your alley. Trail rides range from 1-hour to full days and everything in-between. Both experienced and novice riders are welcomed to participate. Each person is paired up with an Icelandic horse that matches their abilities. Experience the comfortable gaits of this unique breed at a pace that suits you and your family.

The rides are filled with scenic countryside, wildlife, and natural features. This equestrian adventure can be experienced year-round. Thick greenery in the summer, blooming flowers in the spring, vivid fall colors, and snow to have fun in during the coldest months of the year.

1-hour ride: $60

1.5-hour ride: $80

2-hour ride: $90

3-hour ride: $120

Full-day ride: $220 (with lunch)

The Mad River Inn will take you back to the Victorian-age with it’s classic décor. After a long ride, come back and soak in the hot tub or stretch out on your feather bed. In the morning, a gourmet breakfast will be calling your name.
