The Bahe’s and their beloved horse Roy made headlines when sisters Cassie and Anna competed on the family horse at the 2020 Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo.

Cassie made history with a 2.3 second run, winning $23,000 and claiming the title as the FWSSR‘s first-ever breakaway roping champion.

Cassie and Anna are amongst the top 15 cowgirls headed to Arlington, Texas to compete at the 20210 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo. Anna had planned to compete on Roy at this first-ever event.

Anna shared thoughts of her beloved Roy on Instagram saying, “Had to say goodbye to my boy Roy today. It’s been a hard two weeks. He qualified me to my first NFR and I was looking forward to using him there. He made me love the sport of rodeo. There’s nothing he loved more than chasing calves. He was a winner. He always gave his all for me on every run. Thanks for everything Roy.”

Our sincerest condolences to the Bahe family.
