Jordana Bryant's new single "Bad Relationships" is for anyone who's ever been in love in high school, or who just wants to sing at the top of their lungs and remind everyone that just because you're young doesn't mean you can't find real love.

We got to catch up with Jordana to talk about her new single, valuable lessons she's learned so far, and what's next in her growing career.

"I feel like a lot of people assume that high school relationships are going to fail, and a lot of people say that you need to experience all these bad relationships to know what a good one is," she explains. "I don't think that's necessarily true. I've always thought it's a little pointless to go through these bad relationships just to figure out what a good one is. I think in some cases you can find that amazing relationship without having to do any of that stuff."

As a young rising artist, Jordana has received some very simple, yet valuable advice that has stuck with her. Two words: Be Yourself. "There are so many amazingly talented people who are trying to do the same thing as you, but you're the only person who can be you. That's something that's extremely special and that's also something fans will see and relate to when you're just being your authentic self."

Social media plays such a big role in our day-to-day life, and it has become a very useful tool for artists to gain exposure to new audiences. Jordana says, "I think it's so incredible and it really lets us connect with people through our music. I feel like I was really longing for a sense of community. I felt really isolated and so I tried to use social media to create that community and hopefully help other people who are going through the same thing. I'm so grateful that I've gotten to share my music with more people because of it."

As she continues to evolve as an artist, Jordana's main goal is to make a difference in people's lives through her music. It has the power to lift people up and bring them together. "I think the most powerful thing a song can do is make you feel better when you're going through something hard, or when you're having a great day make you feel even better," she says. "I know that like when I hear a certain song at the right time, it can just really change your outlook on something and make your day better."

As we begin to wrap up the year, she's not slowing down! In November, she'll be releasing an original Christmas song that she wrote entirely by herself - an exciting moment for her. "It's about being in love during Christmas for the first time and how everything just feels different. I'm excited about it because although I love co-writing, I think it's also super fun when you get to put out a song that you worked on just by yourself."

It doesn't stop there! She's going to also be releasing two Christmas covers and packaging everything as an EP. Nothing says "'Tis the season" like new music. She also has some exciting projects coming in 2023, and we can't wait!
