When Kacey Musgraves won the Grammy for Album of the Year in 2019, she felt on top of the world. “If you would’ve told me ‘Hey, in two years, you’re going to be divorced and have a whole ’nother album written,’ I would have been like, ‘F*ck off. No way,’” she told ELLE Magazine.

Kacey Musgraves recently opened up to ELLE Magazine for a cover shoot and feature story on her album Golden Hour and her recent divorce with singer-songwriter Ruston Kelly.

“I haven’t spoken much about this chapter, and I don’t feel like I owe that to anyone, but I owe it to myself as a creator to flesh out all these emotions that I’ve felt, and I do that through song,” said Kacey on her new album.

Kacey Musgraves is sharing the photos from her ELLE shoot with photographer Cass Bird on her IG:

She shared this shot with the caption, "Legs longer than my marriage."

Yes, she did that.

“Less time for bulls**t,” she tells ELLE. “I am so repelled by the artificial, the chatter, the pressures of society. It doesn’t matter. We’re not here for very long.”
