I am ready for the holidays and for the sweet serenades of country stars to sing the songs of the season. Along with Carrie Underwood and Dolly Parton, Kelly Clarkson is releasing a few Christmas songs. Now the season will be truly merry and bright!

Kelly officially shared the news during an interview on NBC’s “Sunday TODAY with Willie Geist” podcast. She also will be releasing a full album next year in 2021. The Kelly Clarkson Christmas album is just to hold us over!

As if a Kelly Clarkson Christmas double song release was not jolly enough, one song will be a duet with Brett Eldredge.

“I actually have a couple Christmas things dropping too, that were very random,” she said. “A duet with Brett Eldredge, who I love, that I wrote, and a cover song. So it’s like an A/B side thing that’s coming out for Christmas.”

“Fans are always asking, ‘can you just drop anything?’ Everyone is sad. Everyone is feeling it,” she said, adding that her fans are telling her, “The world has gone to crap, can you just release something?”

Although no titles or details are released yet, we know the release of the duet will make the holidays that much sweeter. Don’t mind us while we pile on the Christmas songs in September. Especially Kelly’s 2013 Christmas album Wrapped in Red and Brett’s 2016 holiday collection, Glow. We can not wait for a Kelly Clarkson Christmas!
