You’ve got to love hard workin’ small businesswomen from the south, am I right? Add in a fascinating family history from the old west and cute clothes, and you’ve got the drivers behind Hazel’s Fashion Wagon! In owner, Darcy Clark-Good’s eyes, the old west and multiple generations of horsewomen motivated her to start her boutique.

“What started as a little girl’s love of horses while performing on Wild West shows has now spanned four generations.  Hazel Hickey Moore was a noted horsewoman performing a variety of horse acts in wild west shows (the forerunner to modern day rodeo), as well as trick and fancy riding, and trick roping.  She also designed and made her own costumes and beaded accessories, for herself and many of the men and women in the shows.  She had great style.  The next two generations in the family, her two daughters and granddaughter, were barrel racers and contract personnel in rodeo.

As the fourth generation, I have combined Hazel’s vintage style with today’s sought after, unique western fashions.  Paying homage to my great grandmother, Hazel, I created Hazel’s Fashion Wagon, showcasing her funky western flair in clothing and accessories.”

Hazel’s Fashion Wagon is always ahead of the western fashion game. Darcy keeps top brands in stock but throws in a few pieces that you haven’t seen at every western store and boutique in a 100 mile radius. And thank goodness for that!

To say I was impressed with Darcy and Hazel’s Fashion Wagon would be an understatement. Darcy is as kind as she is beautiful and the clothes she carries…shooooot. I’ll be lucky if I don’t spend every damn dollar I’ve got at Hazel’s Fashion Wagon! See for yourself and give her a follow and shop with her on FACEBOOK and INSTAGRAM: @HazelsFashionWagon!
