Reiners slid into Oklahoma these past few weeks for the 2022 National Reining Horse Association Futurity from November 24th through December 3rd.

“Under the lights of the historic Jim Norick Coliseum, the mettle of talented 3-year-old reining horses will be tested as they navigate through the signature circles, spins, and sliding stops the event is known for. At the same time, top riders and horses of all ages from across North America compete for major titles in the Adequan® Arena, hoping to nab a coveted championship and take major strides to clinch a year-end title as well,” writes the NRHA.

And cowgirls took over!

Madison Rafacz was the NAAC Novice Horse Non-Pro Level 2 Co-Champion on Got Twisted In Vegas, a horse she trained herself with the help of her day.

Hayley Thompson won the NAAC Youth 13 and Under and was the NRHA Youth 13 and Under Co-Champion aboard Fifty Shades Of Roan. She was Co-Champion with Addison Sawyer riding Whizkey At Dawn.

With a 217.5, Alicia Rapp stole the Showdown Champion title on Xtra Miss Wimpy.

A striking 222.5 run won Gina-Maria Schumacher the Non Pro Level 4 Co-Champion on Gunnin For The Nite.

Cassandra Jean Hacking was the Rookie Level 2 Co-Champion with her horse, Shiners Hot Cash.

Paige Vernon and Magnum Starlight laid a fierce run down, marking a 224, to win the NAAC/NRHA Non Pro.

Following in her footsteps were Stephanie Gentile and Joes Lil Wrangler winning the NAAC/NRHA Intermediate Non Pro.
