Cowgirl Cadillacs Horse Sale is fast approaching and we are getting excited! Horsewomen Christina Tift and Sarah McKibben will be the featured consignors at this year’s sale. These ladies and their gentle, well-broke horses will be featured at Cowgirl Cadillacs Horse Sale from Friday, February 19th to Saturday, February 20th, 2021 at Rancho de los Caballeros in Wickenburg, Arizona.

Christina Tift

Christina Tift was born and raised in the Scandinavian country of Denmark where she had a love of animals, music, and new adventures. After graduating from college in 2006 with a degree in international marketing, she answered her passion for country western music and wanted to travel to the mountains of the United States. So, with her Viking heritage pushing her, she borrowed the money, boarded a plane and flew to Billings, Montana. There, she met up with her future husband Jeff who had a ranch and horse business near Sheridan, Wyoming. In no time at all, Christina was riding and training an average of 8 horses and mules per day. Riding so many different animals taught her timing, feel, and balance. She became a student of the horse as much as the horse became a student of Christina.

Christina has also made a living the past 12 years riding on a grazing permit during the summer months, cooking and wrangling in hunting camps in the fall, and giving riding and music lessons. She has excelled in making classy, well trained horses and mules and has been a highlight with her draft cross geldings where ever she shows up.

Sarah McKibben

Sarah grew up as a city kid from Missouri. Her love and passion for horses began at an early age. She started riding dressage and eventing horses at the local stable and got opportunities to train with top trainers. As long as she could be with horses, her life was complete.

Sarah has won 15 Amateur and Open American Quarter Horse Association World Championships, along with multiple Reserve World Championships and multiple Amateur World Championships in the American Paint Horse Association, Stock Horse of Texas, United States Team Penning Association, and Ranch Sorting National Championships. She has won the Fort Worth Stock Show Amateur Ranch Horse Competition, Quarter Horse Congress, and has competed and won money in the National Cutting Horse Association and barrel racing.

Sarah and her husband, Mozaun, own the Crossfire Arena and Ranch in Whitesboro, Texas. They are committed and passionate about training the true “All-Around” horse. Conformation, Breeding, All-Around Performance, and disposition combined into one individual that is safe, sound, and enjoyable. They have sold AQHA World Champions, APHA World Champions, Quarter Horse Congress Champions, SHOT & RRHA Champions, Mounted Shooting Champions, Team Penning & Sorting Champions, NRCHA, NRHA, and NCHA, NBHA money earners, and great trail riders & family horses.

“I simply love horses and couldn’t imagine a day without them. They define me! I enjoy the horses, the lifestyle and the lifelong friendships I have made through our business. My happiest place is in the saddle…”
