When Kirstie saw the opportunity to add horses to COWGIRL X Kirstie Marie Photography, she jumped at it. It’s not often that COWGIRL has three models on a shoot, so we thought we’d give you the opportunity to meet the models, both four legged and two!

She is owned and shown in reining competitions by Kelsey Price, under the guidance of Price Performance Horses in Pilot Point, Texas. Due to her kind nature and stunning looks, Mel is an experienced model for a wide range of projects!

Ashley Prochazka

Shirt, Ariat, $69.95; jeans, Wrangler, price available online; necklace, $80, buckle, $130, both Montana Silversmiths.

Ashley is a jack of all trades. As Kirstie Jones mentions in her interview with COWGIRL Fashion Editor Samantha Crowley, Ashley has a dance background. She was a cheerleader in college, and went on to cheer for the Dallas Cowboys. She even appeared on Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team.

In addition to modeling and dancing, Ashley also has experience behind the scenes; not only was she the model for this shoot, but she was also the hair and makeup stylist! Back in her cheer days, Ashley regularly helped her teammates with their hair and makeup before performances. Today, Ashley works as a hair and makeup artist and manager for The Styling Stewardess, a Dallas-based hair and makeup styling company.

When she’s not modeling or styling, Ashley works as a pharmaceutical sales representative.

Now that you’ve taken care of meeting the models, it’s time to see the full shoot! View COWGIRL X Kirstie Marie Photography: “Vintage Reserve” here.
