The stars of the country music community gathered together in Las Vegas last night to celebrate another year of amazing music. The night started out as a somber one, as Miranda Lambert, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Maren Morris, and Thomas Rhett paid tribute to the lives lost in Las Vegas at the Route 91 Harvest Festival.
With the victims of the Las Vegas attack in the hearts of everyone, the show carried on. There were beautiful performances, including Carrie Underwood’s triumphant return to the stage, but one of the biggest moments of the night came when Miranda made history when she received her 30th ACM Award. For those who don’t know, that is the most awards any artist has ever received at the ACMS. If that wasn’t extraordinary enough, she went on to win 2 more awards!
As she accepted one of her awards, Miranda said to fans, “Thank you guys so much for sharing my broken heart with me,” a testament to how the star’s honesty and relatability has earned her the spot as one of the greatest country singers of all time.
Congratulations, Miranda! COWGIRL Magazine loves watching you pave the way for women in the country music industry.
