The Art of the Cowgirl Event is a gathering to celebrate cowgirls and their contributions to Western lifestyle and culture, to raise funds to support up and coming artists to expand their knowledge and skills via fellowships with master artists in their field. This week’s event will be held at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds in Bozeman, Montana, and kicks off today!
Montana Silversmiths is honored to be a part of the movement that is Art of the Cowgirl. The logo is inspired by the hand-drawn artwork by founder Tammy Pate. The bright-cut silver engraving was created by their Master Engraver, Justin Deacon, and the sculpted figure was created by Mary Michaels. Art, majesty, heart, and passion come together to celebrate the Art of the Cowgirl.
The mission of the Fellowship Program is to support emerging artists and expand their knowledge and skills through fellowships and mentoring by master artists in their respective fields. A portion of the sales of Art of the Cowgirl products will be allocated to the Art of the Cowgirl Fellowship Fund.
This year, Montana Silversmiths is proud to be the presenting sponsor of the Breakaway Roping. Other events include art demonstrations, music, tradeshow, an all women’s bridle horse challenge, art auction, colt starting, and more!
