Montana Silversmiths offers a scholarship for high school seniors and current college students called the Montana Silversmiths Pursuit of Excellence Scholarship…and this year, they’re awarding multiple scholarships.
The program, created back in 2005, is based on the concept of community and encouraging personal growth. It focuses on “rewarding excellence in our youth and a desire to give back to the people and organizations that make us great,” writes Montana Silversmiths.
According to Montana Silversmiths, the program is “an investment in candidates who have a history of self-improvement and a desire to better themselves and the communities in which they live. This scholarship is unique, in the fact that the recipients are not being rewarded for having the best grades or possessing the most athletic ability but celebrates the student with a desire to become the best that they can be; individuals that are in the ‘pursuit of excellence.'”
Montana Silversmiths Pursuit of Excellence program is supported by their Everybody Wins Program (which offers discounts on trophy buckles and awards for community organizations) and their hat feather sales.
High school seniors and current college students who are enrolled in an accredited 2 or 4-year college are all eligible to apply. Applications are due August 15, 2020, and scholarship recipients will be announced on September 15, 2020.
