Tanya Tucker's new single "Kindness"

"Kindness" is the new single off Tanya's upcoming album. “Sweet Western Sound is another revelation and I’m excited to see what folks think of our new endeavor,” says Tanya. “It’s ALWAYS a trip working with Brandi and Shooter. I didn’t know if we’d be working together again on a new album after While I’m Livin’!! But we did it! Lots of new things we did this time and I even co-wrote some of the songs, which means a lot to me.”

Ashley McBryde's new single "The Devil I Know"

“We’re always hearing something from somebody who thinks they know what’s best for us,” McBryde explains of the song’s meaning in a press release. “Lose weight, your hair’s too curly, change this, change that. Things just seem to go better when you trust your own lens to see what’s good for you.”

Rachel McIntyre Smith's new single "The Woulds"

"I wrote 'The Woulds' while sitting on the front porch of my parents' house with my acoustic guitar. My hope is that this acoustic version takes people right back to that moment with me. I wrote it at a time when I was living in the 'what ifs.' I couldn’t stop asking myself questions that I knew I could never answer. I knew I would never take action to find answers to my questions so I just sort of accepted that I was going to 'live in the woulds.' I love this version of the song so much that I debated releasing this one as the original version. I hope folks enjoy this stripped-back version."

Jenna DeVries and Adam Mac's new single "Chapel"

"There was just kind of a magic chemistry from day one when we got in the studio together," says DeVries to The Boot. "You have this chorus talking about almost this forbidden, rebellious love story, and we thought it was such a cool idea to have two queer creators kind of telling two separate love stories. We're going to celebrate like these two rebellious love stories or lives that we've created for ourselves, and we want to invite people to be part of that."

Lauren Davidson's new single “What I Took For Granted”

“Life isn’t always easy or joyful. It has its ups and downs and highs and lows, and the uncertainty of the music industry heightens those feelings. I’ve personally experienced an enormous amount of loss this year and this song feels so intensely personal, even more so than the day it was written. Family, friends that are family, my people - near and far - this one's for you. Thank you for accepting me for who I am - The good, the bad, and the ugly.  I’m so very lucky to have you all in my life.”

Anna Rose's new single "Alameda"

“‘Alameda’ is very much about the breakup of my marriage. It’s extremely autobiographical and it was a really hard one to write for that reason. ‘Alameda’ is this tiny island off of San Francisco—and the way it was described to me was this beautiful place with pretty houses and sweet families. I realized that it was the fantasy of this place that I wanted to run away to, that I had completely fictionalized it in my mind. It’s not really about Alameda, it’s about the tornado that takes you to a fantasy path forward, like the yellow brick road.”

Kelsey Lamb's new single "In Between Time"

“I knew this song was special the day that I wrote it with Frank Legeay and Erika Raen,” Lamb tells American Songwriter. “Being in that time between moving on from a breakup and trying to start dating again is such a weird place to be, and I feel really honored to have been able to be a part of writing a song that so beautifully expressed that.”

Alyssa Micaela's new single "If Texas Had a Heart"

Alyssa sings, “If Texas had arms they would’ve pulled me in close / And if it had a voice it would’ve said please don’t go / If Texas had a smile it would shine big and bright / Like a Lonestar pointing me home in the middle of the night / If Texas was jealous it wouldn’t like Tennessee / But if Texas had a heart then Texas would’ve never let me leave.”
